Very interesting! I think she’s pulled it off quite seamlessly because it looks like so much product placement when you break it down (besides the fashion, but to be honest, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Gaga), but I’ve watched the video a good ten times & only really paid attention to the vodka (I thought it was a made-up brand).

For some reason “The Russian Mafia Men use a Nintendo Wii controller to bid on GaGa” cracks me up…couldn’t they have used something else? *mind boggle*

I think that Lady Gaga is one of the few artists who can pull that off. The product placement actually only emphasizes her look and public personality, which is a lot about shopping, fashion and spending whole lots of money on absurdities.

And I do love those earphones.

Pretty much obsessed with this crazy video and Lady Gaga’s completely out of this world persona! She is taking pop to a whole new level! But obviously, no on-screen anything is complete without product placement! haha

I love Bad Romance. It’s definitely the talk of the town. I mean, anything with McQueen is. Anyways, I love how you mentioned all the product placement that goes on in it. I always find it interesting – an sometimes even humorous – to look at that aspect!

i agree, i think everything in her video has the same clean, futuristic-y feel without screamingly advertising anything. also, the video period is FABULOUS.
