Funnily enough I have very little memory over what’s happened in the past two weeks, it’s gone by incredibly fast and I have a very bright outlook of what’s in store for the coming month. For starters, I’ve resigned from my job at Starbucks and have begun counting down my last week as a coffee slave. It’s all very exciting, but I also think it is important not to forget the little things.

Short Stories

If you hadn’t noticed, I re-designed JoanneFaith.com to channel my personal brand a little clearer. I wanted to tone down the pink and visually display the concept of ‘chic geek.’ I think I did well! ♦I dove out of my comfort zone and attended Media Mingle, and met some great people. The best thing you can do in a situation where you don’t know that many people, in my opinion, is to smile and say hi. People are usually very friendly in that kind of environment. ♦ Flat warming for some of my best girlfriends! They moved into their own little abode, and I am looking forward to spending more time chilling out with them. It has a pool, which is awesome, and a set of glittery wine glasses that are just begging to be filled. ♦ Florence + The Machine - You Got the Love. ♦ 500 Days of Summer is an adorable movie, and now one of my favorites. It has an incredible soundtrack, and I love Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levit.

Also…lazy mornings dining out for breakfast with the boy and simultaneously reading in the sun. We are harmony. ♦ McDonalds (in New Zealand) now serves soft serve in a waffle cone! ♦ I usually post a Link Love segment every second week, but this video is pretty funny! How to Report the News, it’s so cliche’ and true.
