Funnily enough I have very little memory over what’s happened in the past two weeks, it’s gone by incredibly fast and I have a very bright outlook of what’s in store for the coming month. For starters, I’ve resigned from my job at Starbucks and have begun counting down my last week as a coffee slave. It’s all very exciting, but I also think it is important not to forget the little things.

Short Stories

If you hadn’t noticed, I re-designed JoanneFaith.com to channel my personal brand a little clearer. I wanted to tone down the pink and visually display the concept of ‘chic geek.’ I think I did well! ♦I dove out of my comfort zone and attended Media Mingle, and met some great people. The best thing you can do in a situation where you don’t know that many people, in my opinion, is to smile and say hi. People are usually very friendly in that kind of environment. ♦ Flat warming for some of my best girlfriends! They moved into their own little abode, and I am looking forward to spending more time chilling out with them. It has a pool, which is awesome, and a set of glittery wine glasses that are just begging to be filled. ♦ Florence + The Machine – You Got the Love. ♦ 500 Days of Summer is an adorable movie, and now one of my favorites. It has an incredible soundtrack, and I love Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levit.

Also…lazy mornings dining out for breakfast with the boy and simultaneously reading in the sun. We are harmony. ♦ McDonalds (in New Zealand) now serves soft serve in a waffle cone! ♦ I usually post a Link Love segment every second week, but this video is pretty funny! How to Report the News, it’s so cliche’ and true.

I have trouble remembering my mornings at the end of a day, so trying to remember a week ago is a challenge! But I still remember the fun I had last weekend, getting to celebrate my bday with my 2 bestest girlfriends. Hard to believe it was already a week ago.. Hope you have an amazing weekend

Corrine – Thank you, I’m glowing! With regards to program questions I am popping over to your blog to answer. For anyone else who’s interested, I use Photoshop CS3. The vectors are free use, I am unfortunately not that talented in the graphic design department.

Congrats on leaving Starbucks land! My boyfriend used to work there and although it was an ok job it took too much of his time for a not so great pay ;\ I think I mentioned it before, but yes I am loving the re-design. For me, I’ve been getting a lot of work done, feeling really productive! I think it’s because I’m so hopeful for spring finally coming, I am sick of the cold.

Yep, the weeks are FLYING by…kinda scary, as there are a lot of things I told myself I’d do this year,so I’d better get cracking before it’s all over again!
