Rumi Neely of Fashion Toast started in Forever21′s latest campaign – and it was a refreshing surprise! I think that the use of fashion bloggers in editorial and campaign shoots injects extra personality and appeal into the end result (which can be a pretty important thing when you consider the number of followers Fashion Toast has).

I think it’s great that Forever21 collaborates and works with bloggers on all types of projects. The Times Square campaign had Rumi’s personal style injected into it and for some makes her style a little more accessible. I bet the pieces she’s wearing will sell out.

This is just a few looks from the campaign set, and these images are not only on billboards but on buses and taxi caps all over New York City.

Behind the Scenes

The use of bloggers, such as Rumi Neely here, is so much more personal than the use of a celebrity or model – because of the connection we have with them through their blogs. We’re genuinely interested in bloggers too because we like them for their style, not because they’re constantly being pushed in front of us. And that is making this campaign a success.

What do you think of the campaign & the use of bloggers such as Rumi for Forever21?

Rumi is so stunning, so I’m not surprised to see her face on billboards.

isn’t it CRAZY, though, how many opportunities have derived from blogging for many bloggers? They’re like mini celebrities in our little fashiony world!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I love her. She’s something different from all the other fashion bloggers, maybe because of her style and her appeal. She’s meant to become successful.
