What I Wore: Karen Walker Weekend Sale

Karen Walker Dress

I must admit, I often don’t end up trudging out for sales. The clothes often aren’t your style, or they aren’t your size and the mission out ends up being a bit of a wash. Not this time, though! I was out & about on Saturday and I popped into The Department Store to check this out:

Karen Walker under $150 sounded pretty enticing to me – and the prices were ridiculous. I tried on more than a couple of things, and in the end walked away with this dress for a steal. Polka-dots, ruffles, and bows in a slick cut – I think it’s gorgeous! I have a thing for polka dots on navy fabric so that definitely helped.

Addison Wedges

Paired with the Addison wedges from Top Shop, although personally I’d rather be wearing it with the Sam Edelman spiked heels. Unfortunately, they are both sold out and a tad out of my price range when I add on shipping & potential taxes.

    I have to say, that’s quite a good point – it’s easier to think that certain things will go with things when they’re not in your closet!

    the sam edelman pumps…I wanted them when they first came out but decided that $300 is wayyy too much for the quality…
