What I Wore: Sheer
May 1, 2012 in What I Wore

ASOS sheer blouse | COOP skirt | Glassons belt | ASOS watch | RMK wedges | Rebecca Minkoff Cupid bag
Making the most of the last few days of sun.. We shot these in an open park under the evening sun, and he lighting-effect was especially sun-drenched. This top is a take on the sheer trend I can get behind. So subtle you’ll miss it if you’re not paying close attention. I do own quite a few sheer bits and pieces, but I find this is one of the few you can get away without wearing another top underneath. This skirt was a surprise-buy from COOP. I love the way it nips the waist, and flares out without being overwhelming. The full zip is a nice touch, and can be worn either at the front or back depending on the look you want. I’m looking forward to wearing it in the winter with black opaque tights and ankle boots.

Great outfit, and an inspiration… I stopped dressing in the way I like, purely because I have no space for my things and I am leading a bit of a chaotic life now… but soon I’ll go back to my way and your outfit inspired me! Beautiful!

This is a lovely minimal outfit. I definitely love the shape of the skirt! It reminds me of the American Apparel one I’m wearing while typing this. The flare adds the right amount of cute femininity. xx

Wow beautiful outfit! You look seriously gorgeous!!!
thank you for your lovely comment on my blog! I have used Moroccan oil, I actually use it every morning before I head off to work and I absolutely love it. It’s a very light oil so it won’t make your hair look/feel greasy which is why I love to apply it when my hair is both wet and dry, it just tames the fly-aways rather than weighing hair down. Coconut oil is great too but definitely a bit thicker, more for damaged hair (which I have </3)

Love this look! Its really something I would wear, and the skirt is *perfect*! I was just wondering, is the skirt black, or more of an olive colour? I think its something I have to add to my wardrobe!

@Ellen, It’s more of an Olive color than black! I think that’s why I like it so much.. it’s just that little bit different!
