This was one of those weeks where once Friday rolled around I meant TGIF. Seriously. It was a busy one! The good news next week is set to be a little calmer with a little less on the agenda. I’ve tried to squeeze a bit more gym-time into my weekly routine – having just given my first Les Mills PUMP class a go and (surprisingly) not hated it. In other news, I’m starting to work on a big re-design for Style by Joanne – as I think it’s time the look & feel of this place started to better reflect what I want to blog to be. Stay tuned! Anyway, here’s what I’m loving this week.

I reviewed the new Pascall Mellow Bites Chocolates for NZGirl awhile back – and I’m still enjoying ‘em. These little chocolate-coated marshmallow bites are ridiculously delicious (especially in honeycomb).

Considering a fair chunk of my work & blog life is taken up by social media, I’m always up for a good musing on the subject. Here are a few#socialmediatheories I dig: 1. Instagram is the new go-to platform for saying “I live a full life and here is photographic proof”. 2. Posting constant #selfies on Facebook is frowned upon as narcissistic. But posting a lighthearted selfie on Instagram is fun. 3. Nothing is more bittersweet than getting a tweet with a typo RTed.

At some point in the past month I became completely enamoured by the tweed jacket. I’m not sure if they’re “becoming a thing” or not, but I feel as if I’ve suddenly found another gaping hole in my wardrobe. This particular jacket is available via NastyGal.
