My name is Joanne, and I started this blog because I wanted to say something about fashion and style. However, I quickly became more interested in the ‘business of blogging’, and have since spoken on a FINZ (Fashion Industry New Zealand) panel about fashion and digital, written for Independent Fashion Bloggers, and my own ‘how-to’ guide on killer fashion blogging. My focus is now on inspiring through personal style – in a very general sense. My sense of style extends from what I wear, to the beauty products I use, to what I cook (coming soon..), and what I do in my spare time.

I’m 22, and based in Auckland. During the day I work at a strategic digital marketing agency based in the Auckland CBD. I like to think of myself as an ad-girl even thought I don’t technically work in advertising. I come with a business degree from the University of Auckland, with majors in Marketing + Info. Management. I’m currently writing my thesis on the similarities between bloggers and celebrity endorsers to gain honours in marketing. I don’t travel a lot, but recently I’ve been lucky enough to visit New York and Sweden. I love both of ‘em and hope overseas jaunts are about to become more of regular occurrence. ; )
