Karen Walker NYFW Fall/11 Collection ‘North’

I look forward to Karen Walker’s appearance in New York Fashion Week. There’s the home grown aspect to it, the knowledge that I’ll get to see and try on the pieces I like, and of course the fact that I like her style and the way she blends safe with loud & out there.

The Fall/11 collection is inspired by the Northern Soul scene, and titled North. This wouldn’t have meant anything to me, but I happened to take a paper titled ‘Issues and History in Popular Music’ last semester and touched on this very era.

Window Stalking: Superette

A Bucket Bag Obsession
